Key Stage 2 visited 'Think Tank' in Birmingham.

Mrs Firmin, Oliver and William’s Mum, came to school to run two sessions for Key Stage 2 about the her role at the new hospital. She is a scientist at the blood bank and spoke to the children about a range of aspects including equipment used in the labs, what the job entailed and how to look for abnormalities in the blood samples under the powerful microscope.
