Welcome to Tollerton Primary School.
We are a single form entry mainstream primary school catering for pupils from the age of 4 to 11 and are proud to be a member of Equals Trust, a primary-only Academy group of schools.
The ethos and values of our school are central to the learning and well being of our community. We have a commitment to inclusive education and strive to maintain high quality teaching and learning in our excellent school environment. We encourage growing independence and emphasise that enthusiasm, effort and high standards are expected from everyone. Our 5 core school values best demonstrate the key aims and ethos of our school:
Take Care
Perseverence
Aspiration
Respect
Kindness
Our school motto is ‘Learning Together for Life’. This is about all of us – children, parents, staff, governors and our wider Academy Trust (Equals Trust), working together to allow all of our children to be the very best that they can be and to be ready for their future. In school, we have begun to refer to our collaborative approach as Team Tollerton.
Tollerton is a happy and successful school with a caring, family atmosphere. Children enjoy their time here and leave us as happy, confident and articulate young people ready for, and enthusiastic about, the next stage in their education journey. Our school also has a history of strong academic results and standards, and these are achieved through a broad and balanced curriculum that gives children the opportunity to learn through inspiring, inclusive and carefully designed sequences of work. We aim to ensure our curriculum is enriched with exciting, memorable experiences, and provide children with opportunities to develop beyond the academic so that they become confident, happy and resilient learners.
Visitors are more than welcome to come and see for themselves just what makes Tollerton Primary School such a special place. Please contact the school office if you would like to arrange a visit.
