Welcome to Tollerton Primary School.
We are a single form entry mainstream primary school catering for pupils from the age of 5 to 11 and are proud to be a member of Equals Trust, a primary only Academy group of schools. The ethos and values of our school are central to the learning and well being of our community.  We have a commitment to inclusive education and strive to maintain high quality teaching and learning in our excellent school environment. We encourage growing independence and emphasise that enthusiasm, effort and high standards are expected from everyone. 

Tollerton is a happy and successful school with a caring, family atmosphere. Children enjoy their time here and leave us as happy, confident and articulate young people ready for, and enthusiastic about, the next stage in their education journey.

We achieve high standards at Tollerton but this is not at the expense of a broad and balanced curriculum that gives children the opportunity to learn and achieve through inclusive and carefully designed sequences of work in a range of environments.

We work very hard to develop our children’s confidence and self-esteem through our legendary drama productions and extensive residential trips programme.

Our school motto is ‘Learning Together for Life’. This is about all of us – children, parents, staff, governors and our wider Academy Trust (Equals Trust), working together to allow all of our children to be the very best that they can be and to be ready for their future.
