On Tuesday 28th February, 8 pupils from class 6 went to South Wolds Academy and took part in an indoor rowing festival. Many of them had never seen, let alone been on a rowing machine before. However, they soon got to grips and very quickly improved their technique, enabling them to beat their personal bests in each team challenge.

U11 Girls 7-a-side Autumn Tournament - CHAMPIONS of NOTTINGHAMSHIRE! 26/11/22

The Nottinghamshire Schools' FA Girls 7-a-side Autumn Tournament was sadly reduced to only four teams due to the late withdrawal of two schools but this did not affect the enthisiasm and quality of the football on show. The four sides played in a round robin format and it was clear from the first round of matches that there were two very strong sides. As it happened these two teams, Tollerton from the Rushcliffe District and Lowes Wong representing Newark met each other in the final round of matches. Tollerton took the lead in the first half only for Lowes Wong to come back with an equaliser later in the game and so leave the final score at 1-1 in an exciting game. This left the two teams finishing level on seven points each but with Tollerton having a much better goal difference meant that they will represent Nottinghamshire in the Midland Regional Finals to played next March or April next year.

Girls' Rushcliffe Euros Football Tournament CHAMPIONS! 20/09/22

On Tuesday 20th September, the girls football team took part in the Rushcliffe Euros tournament. For some of these girls, it was their first competitive match playing football and for most of them, their first time playing for the school. We played 5 matches in total and won every single one! We were a solid team and can only get better and better as the girls get used to playing with each other. They showed great sportsmanship and respect. They did Tollerton proud!
