Remote Learning

September 2021:

Due to a change in requirements around self isolation, from September 2021when a pupil is isolated due to having a positive PCR test, they will work from home (if they are well enough). Teachers will provide WRM (White Rose Maths) daily and links to Oak Academy for other subjects. Sometimes other links or emails will be sent, depending on the lessons the pupils are missing. Full on-line learning (as in earlier lockdowns) will only happen if the authorities move the school to having bubbles again and home learning will continue via teams if whole bubbles close.

Bubble closure home learning (if the government or Public Health England reintroduce bubbles for Tollerton):

Tollerton School uses Microsoft Teams as its home learning platform in the event of bubble closures. More full information can be found in the documents below.

As a summary, we deliver the minimum of two live lessons a day with pupils (some classes deliver 4 - dependent on need e.g. KS1 and Reception deliver live phonics and additional story times in addition to a morning and afternoon meeting). Staff also deliver some 1:1 and small group learning sessions based on specific need.

We are not updating the website with home learning information as all work is sent via Teams to every pupil.
